Hi, the thread starter mentioned ActionBrowser 2, but the following also applies to Configurator Reloaded 2:
This is a now a known issue with UXP plugins.
I reported this bug to Adobe a long time ago, but unfortunately, it seems they’re not addressing it.
- However, someone discovered a (rather strange) workaround:
- Create a new action and start recording.
- While recording, run the original action (the one containing the action script) from Photoshop’s native Actions panel.
- Stop recording.
- Use this newly created action in ActionBrowser 2 or add it to Configurator Reloaded 2.
This wrapped action should now execute correctly.
As of version 2.1.4, actions triggered through CR2 will now create only one single history step, making the process much cleaner in the History panel.
