Hello,
the watermark will be added as a new layer. So in the open document or in a saved PSD file (with the setting "preserve layers" on the save process checked) you can simply remove this layer. If saved as JPG, PNG or webP you can't simply remove it because they don't support layers.
I would always recommend to keep a version without the watermark.
