I downloaded the trial and tried the new script editor.
I noticed two problems.
The first problem is that if I include the "Select People" command in the script,
I get this error:

The second problem is that when the script editor is open, I can't do anything.
I'll give you an example: if I select an action and want to copy it with "Copy as JavaScript," it won't let me do it. Every time I close the script editor, go to the "Copy as JavaScript" action, reopen the script editor, and paste the result. I find this very inconvenient.
I also think it would be better to put a button on the main page to select the script editor.
One more thing:
Have you thought of a way to add an icon to the button?
I'll give you an example:
If I add the adjustment buttons, I recognize them faster with an icon, and I find it more intuitive.
I saw you did something very useful with the brushes, so you could do this for all the buttons: load an icon into Photoshop, right-click on the button you want, and select "Add Icon."
These are just observations, and I know programming is difficult. I hope my observations are correct and haven't offended you. If I notice anything else, I'll let you know.
