Plugins for Photoshop
Plugins based on Adobe CEP (all extensions under "Window" > "Extensions") are NOT supported on the native Photoshop version for Mac's with Apple silicon (M1, M2) chips.
WORKAROUND: It's possible to run CEP plugins if you start Photoshop in an emulation mode using Rosetta.
Plugins based on Adobe UXP (all plugins under the new main menu "Plugins") are SUPPORTED on the native Photoshop version for Mac's with Apple silicon chips.
Plugins for other Adobe apps than Photoshop (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
- On all other Adobe apps than Photoshop also plugins based on Adobe CEP are SUPPORTED on Mac's with Apple silicon chips.
Which technology are using my plugins?
Plugins based on Adobe CEP:
- Watermark version 1 and 2 *
- ActionBrowser 1 *
- Free Stock Search 1 *
- Configurator Reloaded (PS and ID version)
- Sharpen4Web
- Metadata
- SocialTabs
* UXP version exists. If you purchased one of these CEP versions you can get the UXP version for free. Write a mail to thomas@pixelsucht.net and attach the purchase confirmation.
Plugins based on Adobe UXP:
- Watermark 3
- ActionBrowser 2
- Free Stock Search 2
- Free Stock Search for XD
- Social Media Toolkit
It's planned to develop an UXP version of Configurator Reloaded for Photoshop as soon as Adobe UXP supports all the functions that the plugin needs. Currently there is no ETA.
Currently no UXP version is planned for Sharpen4Web, Medatada and SocialTabs.
If you are searching an UXP version of Sharpen4Web there exists a free plugin by a different developer that is working quiet similar: Web Sharpener
