Plugins for Photoshop
- Plugins based on Adobe CEP (all extensions under "Window" > "Extensions") are NOT supported on the native Photoshop version for Mac's with Apple silicon (M1, M2, M3) chips.
WORKAROUND: It's possible to run CEP plugins if you start Photoshop in an emulation mode. To do this, click on the 3 dots next to the app name in the Creative Cloud desktop app under Applications and select Open (Intel).
- Plugins based on Adobe UXP (all plugins under the new main menu "Plugins") are SUPPORTED on the native Photoshop version for Mac's with Apple silicon chips.
Plugins for other Adobe apps than Photoshop (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
- On all other Adobe apps than Photoshop also plugins based on Adobe CEP are SUPPORTED on Mac's with Apple silicon chips.
