Cannot drag and drop layers

I cannot drag and drop layers to another image. My procedure: select a layer, hold shift key, drag and drop to an image. The result is that the layer is not added to the target image. Can someone help me with this problem?

DocManager Pro, Win 11, Photoshop (both latest versions).

Hi Alfons,

are you maybe trying to drag the layers from the native PS layers panel to the DocManager panel?
This is only possible on a Mac.
On Windows you need to do it the same as copying the entire document but additionally hold Shift before start dragging.

Detailed steps fro Windows:

Select the layers you want to copy in the native layers panel
Hold down the Shift key
In the DocManager Pro panel, start dragging from the document from which you want to copy the layers
Drag to the target document
Release the Shift key
